The power of the pyjama

Pictures from pinterest
The Pyjama Trend, undoubtedly one of the most unlikely trends of this year. Yet surprisingly the Pyjama dressing has remained a constant trend in fashion's revolving door of trends, quoted by Instyle magazine.
Blossoming from the likes of classic men's Pyjamas, the trend has seen the likes of various high end designers, including; Celine, Balenciaga and Dolce and Gabbana; Where I have seen the likes of designers showcase a more refined idea of Pyjama dressing - featuring silk robes, silky camisoles and silk like trousers which have made their way down most spring/summer 2016 catwalks.
Due to it's high popularity and likability the trend has also been picked up from popular high street stores like H&M and ZARA.

Life Update ♡

Bi*ch, I'm back, By Popular Demand. Okay, maybe not by popular demand but you get the gist. It’s been three months since I last posted on here, and nearly a month since I finished up all of my exams and two long years at sixth form. Within this very lengthy hiatus, I’ve been stressing over final exams, finalizing coursework ect ect. As well as finally finalizing my decision on what I’d like to study at University. I haven’t really mentioned it on here, but I’ve decided to take a plunge in the deep end and go ahead and study fashion. After pretty much a very frustrating process and drawing options from a hat (yes, you can judge me). I finally decided to go with my general gut instinct, as life’s too short and university is way too expensive. I mean everything can go to plan or completely fail, but I trust my instinct. (eeek).

As well as finally deciding what I want to do at University, I have turned eighteen and as mentioned finished two very stressful at sixth form. These are two very major milestones of this year, and the whole concept is still pretty foreign to me. I still sometimes have to put life on pause for a while and realize really how quickly life is going. It’s absolutely crazy, and has definitely made me really believe that life really is short. I can honestly ramble forever, but to wrap it all up I'm hopefully going to try and put forward 100% into blogging as it's a huge passion of mine. So be prepared for some top quickly content (ha!). See you all soon ;)

Oh So Simple

As you can see, I'm finding it extremely difficult in dressing appropriate for the weather. Yes, I'm that person that often opts for a leather jacket in the scorching heat or a crop top in the bitter cold; I don't let the weather stop me..never! (Okay, maybe sometimes..)
It's been extremely cold recently..like I don't want to leave my bed cold. There's nothing I hate more than cold weather, though I do see the joys in wearing bundles of layers (clearly not evident) as well as snuggling up in bundles of blankets.
I opted for this super simple outfit on a short but sweet lunch date with my parents. You most definitely can't go wrong with a a striped tee, I paired it with this teddy bear coat and a pair of my favorite shoes - which I can't keep of my feet!

Favorite Drug Store Lipsticks

There’s nothing as fierce as an individual in lipstick. I love the way that a subtle or even bold lip can instantly evaluate someone’s features and complete the simplest of looks. Over the years I’ve consumed A LOT of lipstick products, which strangely started when I started collecting all the Fizzy drink flavor lip balms they used to sell in Claire’s and Primark. The memory of me sitting in a lesson and applying a dash of Cherry Coca Cola lip balm and frequently licking my lips, and being astonished that my lips tasted like my favorite drink – blew my mind. Anyway, here are just a few of my favorite / everyday drugstore lipsticks that I can’t live without.

Another little post I've pulled up from my drafts, that has been collecting dust from the past couple of months. Flash back to mid September falling leaves, an array of mustard yellows to burnt oranges that fill shop floors, the smell of burnt wood and sweet cinnamon that fill homes as well as very early Christmas decorations making making sneaky appearances - fulfilling peoples festive crave.
